    L2500 overheating

My L2500 Kubota temp gauge is running "hot", not quite in the red zone, but almost.

I have cleaned the radiator screen, radiator, and replaced the thermostat.. any suggestions.

    Thanks

     MIKE,

TAKE THE RADIATOR CAP AND TURN SO IT IS LOOSE, BUT IN THE LAST NOTCH. RUN THE TRACTOR TILL THE ENGINE COOLANT OPENS THE THERMOSTAT. CAREFULLY REMOVE THE CAP TO SEE IF THE COOLANT IS MOVING IN THE RADIATOR. IF THE COOLANT IS MOVING, CHECK YOUR FAN BELT TO MAKE SURE IT IS TIGHT. IF COOLANT IS NOT MOVING, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR WATER PUMP. IF YOUR PUMP IS WORKING AND YOUR FAN BELT IS GOOD, YOUR RADIATOR MAY NEED TO BE REMOVED AND SENT TO A RADIATOR SHOP TO HAVE IT CHECKED OVER. WORST CASE COULD BE, THE ENGINE DID OVERHEAT AND THE HEAD ON THE ENGINE IS CRACKED.

ANY MORE QUESTIONS, PLEASE WRITE OR CALL.

    THANKS, LES.
